PAULA ACEVEDO

FOUNDER / DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS

Paula grew up in the beautiful country of Colombia until life brought her to Colorado 14 years ago. A decade of teaching Spanish to both children and adults inspired Paula to develop a curriculum centered around engaging activities and fun interactions. That in turn inspired her to found Uno1 Dos2 Tres3, which has helped hundreds of northern Coloradans begin their journey toward Spanish fluency. She is equally passionate about teaching students, developing new educational materials, researching new educational methodologies, and training our growing stable of exceptional tutors.

LAURA HAVENS

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Laura was born and raised in Spain. Although she moved to the U.S. almost 20 years ago to complete her Ph.D, her heart and her family are still there. It was when her oldest son was born that Laura discovered the power of language and truly understood the beauty of her mother tongue. Since then she has embarked on a journey to raise bilingual kids and spread the love of Spanish everywhere she goes. She loves helping this amazing team and its incredible students achieve their full potential by handling all the day-to-day operations.
